CUSTOMER SERVICE/SHIPPING OPERATIONS
- Our office operates every Monday-Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, excluding major holidays.
- When contacting us during normal business hours/days it may take up to 48 hrs for us to reply. Please be patient, we will answer as soon as we are able.
- Our regular processing time for shipping in-stock orders is 1-2 days, excluding weekends. During sales shipping times can be extended a few days.
IN STORE OPERATIONS
- Our Salem store hours are Monday-Thursday 11-6 pm, Friday/Saturday 11-7, and Sunday 12-6 pm.
- Our address is 3 Central St. in Salem, MA
- LOCAL PICK-UP: you can choose "Local Pick-up" at checkout to pick-up your order in-store. The pick-up option is available during all of our regular business hours. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up, typically the same day you order. Orders will be held at the store until you come in to pick them up.
SHIPPING & RATES
- We ship via USPS and UPS.
- The cost for shipping is $8-$10 depending on weight for a purchase $199 and under and free for any purchase $200 and over.
- We ship via USPS First Class International or Priority International to Canada and are not shipping elsewhere internationally at this time.
- Please note that orders received after 12pm will be sent out the following business day. Business days are Monday-Friday.
- Shipping typically takes 4-9 business days. Please understand that the shipping time only begins as soon as UPS/ USPS receives the package and is only valid on business days.
- If you would like your order sooner but do not need overnight shipping, choose Express Shipping at checkout and your order will arrive in 2-3 business days.
- We highly recommend that you contact us by email if you need your package by a certain date.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
- Once your order has been shipped and tracking information has been provided, Modern Millie is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. Once your package leaves us it becomes the responsibility of USPS or UPS, please contact your shipping carrier to file a claim.
- If you are unable to file a claim with UPS/USPS please contact us by email and we can file a claim on your behalf.
- If a claim is approved and we are refunded by the shipping carrier we can then refund or replace your items.
GIFT CARDS/STORE CREDIT
- Gift cards & Store Credit are not returnable or refundable for cash.
- Gift Cards & Store Credit can be used for purchases on our website and in store.
- Store Credit cannot be transferred to another person or account.
- Store credit is provided in U.S. Currency.
- We do not expire our gift cards or store credit.
- At checkout you will be promted to enter the code for your gift card or store credit.
- Every brand and even dresses within a brand can fit differently. We greatly encourage you to refer to our measurements.
- We suggest that every customer get a tape measure and measure their Bust, Waist and Hips, so that they know their measurements in inches.
- When measurements are listed they are exact measurements that we take by hand in the store so rest assured they are accurate!
- Contact us on the product page or at email@example.com for additional measurements, fit advice, or styling advise!
- All US and domestic orders can be returned or exchanged if they are not used or final sale items, hosiery or petticoats.
- At this time we are unable to offer international returns or exchanges because of the turn around time.
- All returns must be postmarked within 14 days of delivery of your items. No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
- If you wish to make a return, simply use our return portal.

- Items must be returned in original, unworn, unwashed, and smoke-free condition with tags attached. We reserve the right to not accept a return if it does not meet this criteria.
- All 50% off or sale on sale items are FINAL SALE. Any items we deem unacceptable will be subject to a restocking fee of 30%-50% or denial.
- Once your return is received it will take 3-5 days for funds to appear in your account.
- A shipping label fee of $8 will be deducted from your refund for returns.
- For exchanges, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your item(s) at firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know your order number, the item you wish to exchange and any other details you wish to provide such as improper fit, etc.
- We will email a link to purchase the exchange label and email you the label when it is purchased.
- The exchange label costs $8 and we pay to send the new item to you.
- Exchanges may be made for same item, different size only. Otherwise, a refund or store credit will be issued.
WRONG OR DAMAGED ITEMS
- If you receive a wrong or damaged item, please contact us immediately at email@example.com so we may resolve your issue for you asap.
- There is a tab/label on every item that specifies washing and care instructions, please follow them accordingly. We are not responsible for items that are damaged by not following care instructions correctly.
- Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to any purchase placed prior to the start of a sale.
